Normandy Carpet has cleaned area rugs in homes and commercial businesses since 1974. When looking for a commercial rug cleaning service in DC, MD, and VA, we can perform onsite or in-plant commercial rug cleaning. After we inspect the rugs fiber content and determine the best method for cleaning, we will be able to provide options. If we are unable to effectively clean on-site, we will bring your rug(s) back to our plant, clean, & return them in 7-9 business days. We can pick up and deliver your rugs or you can drop them off at our cleaning plant in Gaithersburg, MD.
Commercial Rug Cleaning Process
1. Measure rug to ensure the correct size
2. Perform a pre-inspection process to document any pre-existing damage and/or stains
3. Pre-treat heavily soiled and stained spots with deodorizer and pet-treatment sanitizer
4. Steam clean the entire rug with 180-degree water
5. Clean fringe
6. Apply stain protectant (if desired)
7. Rake
8. Hang dry
9. Touch up (if needed)
10. Repair (if needed)
11. Deliver back or pickup
The rug cleaning process takes 7-9 business days to complete.
